There’s no better time to be a fan of the X-Men than right now — Marvel’s original beloved team has taken a back seat in live-action in recent years, but that’s all going to change after the release of Avengers: Secret Wars. Marvel has enlisted Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, and Samara Weaving to respectively star as Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Emma Frost in a new X-Men movie coming in the next few years, but it will have a lot of work to do to live up to the standard set by X-Men ‘97. Marvel has released two seasons of X-Men ‘97 in the last few years, with more confirmed to be on the way in 2027 and 2028. Apocalypse has been dealt with for now, but there is certainly more trouble for the mutants on the horizon.
