Avengers: Doomsday is going to feature several characters from all over the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the comics show a path for one of the film's heroes to turn heel and join Doctor Doom. When the cast of Avengers: Doomsday was announced, I was shocked by the sheer number of teams that would be involved in the conflict. Sure, I was never expecting it to be like the first two MCU Avengers movies, which were mostly focused on the core team, but I still thought that Secret Wars would be the project to go all out.
