2025 was a huge year for Guy Pearce, who earned his first Oscar nomination of his career for his work opposite Adrien Brody in The Brutalist. While Pearce ultimately didn’t take home the award like his co-star did, there were enough eyes on the Oscar-winning period epic to help bump him up a notch in the ultimate Hollywood star list. Pearce also starred in one of the more underrated films of 2025, Killing Faith, the supernatural Western that even earned the Stephen King seal of approval. The film was unable to secure wide distribution in theaters, but it did find a streaming home on Hulu, where it became one of the most popular movies on the platform upon its debut. Pearce is always on the lookout for his next big project, and he’s set to star in a new thriller that could be launching sooner than expected.
