Mark Wahlberg Was Trained by a Former U.S. Marine For This Antoine Fuqua Action-Thriller

Always trending fairly well on Paramount+, Shooteris a 2007 action thriller based on Stephen Hunter's famed Point of Impactnovel. Starring Mark Wahlberg, this action flick has style as former Marine veteran Bob Lee Swagger is framed for a murder after coming out of retirement to prevent a possible assassination attempt on the U.S. President. This leads to plenty of explosive moments and some of the best action sequences in director Antoine Fuqua's career (okay, aside from The Equalizer films). But what is especially interesting about the behind-the-scenes of Shooter is that Wahlberg was trained for the role by a former Marine sniper, and it certainly adds to the authenticity of this conspiracy drama.
