Mark Wahlberg is returning to the Tedfranchise for a sequel, making up for what we could have had with the original spin-off TV series. Seth MacFarlane is best known for being the creator and star of Family Guy, but the other title he's known for is Ted, the comedy franchise that's spawned two films and a TV series on Peacock. Mark Wahlberg plays the lead role as John in the Ted movies, with MacFarlane voicing the titular bear in both the films and the TV show. Max Burkholder was cast as the younger John in the 2024 prequel show.
