Mark Wahlberg kicked off this year by starring in Flight Risk, the aviation thriller directed by Mel Gibson. But five years ago, he teamed up with a Last of Us star for a coming-of-age drama that just got a major streaming update. Wahlberg features alongside Isabela Merced and Rose Byrne in Instant Family, the 2018 film following a couple who find themselves with more than they bargained for after they foster three children. Netflix has announced that Instant Family will begin streaming on the platform this Friday, May 16. It is currently only streaming on Paramount+. The film earned an 82% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an 83% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter. It also grossed $120 million at the box office against a budget of $48 million.
