A MAJOR coffee chain with 2,000 branches will shut a store today following a string of closures.
Costa Coffee will shutter its branch at Shell Highworth Service Station on April 20, giving customers just a few hours to say their goodbyes.

The store will be converted into a Greggs bakery, which has sparked mixed reviews from some locals.
One person said the closure was the “worst decision for Highworth”.
But another said the area has a “few other coffee shops, both much better than Costa”.
Once open, the Greggs will be the first in the area, however there are already 10 of the affordable bakeries around the Swindon area.
A Costa Coffee Spokesperson told The Sun: “We can confirm that our Costa Coffee store at Shell Highworth Service Station will be closing its doors for trade this month.
“All team members will be redeployed, and the local community can continue to enjoy their favourite Costa coffee at our nearest store in Greenbridge Retail Park, Swindon.”
It is one of many closures announced by the coffee chain in recent weeks.
Costa Coffee is closing its branch on Stockton High Street at the end of May.
This comes on top of a closure made in Lyndhurst in the New Forest.
Just a month later it confirmed it would shutter its Bridlington, Yorkshire.
It comes after Costa closed the following branches last year
