Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is clearly hiding something in Coronation Street next week, and Betsy Swain (Sydney Myers) is determined to get to the bottom of it, as a new spoiler video shows.
As the Weatherfield locals get ready for Craig Tinker’s memorial, Lisa knows it is going to be a tough day, and attempts to take her mind off it by going through some old files.
When Betsy stumbles across them, she is quick to start snooping before a panicked Lisa quickly jumps in to stop her.
Her reaction leaves Betsy intrigued, and later she questions her mum about the contents of the file, as the spoiler video reveals.
Lisa makes out that the files were from the donor bank and related to Betsy’s paternity – something she legally can’t have access to until she turns 18.
She goes on to explain that she suspected Betsy would have pushed to know more which is why she didn’t tell her, though she promises that they will have a proper conversation about it later.
However, in later scenes it becomes clear that Betsy knows Lisa is lying, as she shows Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) a picture of a letter she found.
Determined to get to the bottom of what is really in the file, Betsy and Lauren head to Highfield Prison.
As they wait in the visiting room, Betsy admits that she is a nervous wreck.
