HOLIDAYMAKERS are rushing to Lidl to snap up a £5.99 foldable handbag that’s ideal for budget flights – and it can even double up as your beach bag.
The handy Topmove Foldable Bag – Blue is now available in Lidl stores across the UK, and shoppers say it’s a game-changer for short getaways.

The spacious bag folds into its own pocket for easy storage when not in use and opens up into a roomy 25L main compartment.
It comes with two outer zip pockets, an inner pocket and has a max weight capacity of 15kg.
Unfolded, the bag measures 51cm long, 22cm wide and 40cm high – well within the cabin bag size limits for airlines like Ryanair, EasyJet and Jet2.
Shoppers also get peace of mind with a three-year warranty included.
Lidl is also launching a £6 foldable backpack in stores from Thursday, June 5, which is perfect for Ryanair flights this summer.
The 20-litre capacity bag folds into its own pocket and supports up to 15kg.
If you’re after more affordable travel bags, other retailers are also stepping up with deals worth a look.
Tesco has launched a major discount on its Constellation range of suitcases, with some cabin-sized bags scanning at tills for as little as £12.
These cabin cases are EasyJet-approved, meeting the airline’s strict size and weight restrictions for free carry-on baggage.
Lidl is offering an affordable garden product for just £3.49 that is highly effective at suppressing weeds and enhancing the appearance of flower beds.
The product, a 40-litre bag of decorative wood chips, serves multiple purposes including acting as mulch, retaining soil moisture, preventing weed growth, and adding aesthetic value to gardens.
Savvy shoppers can save up to £679 a year at Lidl using insider tips and smart shopping strategies.
Key savings come from utilizing the Lidl Plus app, which provides access to weekly discounts, personalized coupons, and rewards for hitting spending targets.
How to save money at Lidl
Lidl reduces items at the start of the day, and the best deals can be found between 7am and 8am, when most stores open.
Shoppers can often find cooked meats, salmon fillets and breads reduced by 30 per cent or more.
Not only does Lidl have its own range of reasonably priced alcohol, it also has its own knock-offs of branded favourites – so say cheers to its bargain booze.
Everyone knows about the “Middle of Lidl” – it’s here where you’ll find a load of random stuff you didn’t realise you needed, at decent prices.
But if you are hoping to avoid spending more than you planned, you can check what will be in the “Middle of Lidl” on the supermarket’s website in advance.
The Middle of Lidl is refreshed every Thursday and Sunday.
Shoppers can also keep tabs on what’s appearing in the “Pick of the Week” section on the Lidl website.
The discounts happen every Thursday and are usually on fruit, vegetables, and meat.
Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts
IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.
Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.
It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
