One of the most revered artists in X-Menhistory is back, 45 years after he left the franchise. John Byrne was the other half of the equation that made Chris Claremont's early tenure on The Uncanny X-Men a hit in the late 1970s, but by the early '80s, the illustrator was burnt out on drawing Marvel's mutants and left Uncanny to work on other books. Now, he's finally revisiting X-Men, and he's doing it his way.
