Lana Del Rey‘s 2025 Met Gala appearance included a loving tribute to her husband and alligator tour guide, Jeremy Dufrene. The Born To Die hitmaker incorporated two alligator clips in her latest Met Gala outfit to hint at her husband, Dufrene.

She placed one pin near her right ear and the second on her curly updo bun. Hairstylist Anna Cofone created the “Chemtrails over the Country Club” singer’s look. Del Rey’s stylist, Molly Dickson, took to Instagram to share a detailed look at the gold hair clips that featured intricate designs.

Dickson tagged the accessories brand Relic Room, which might have created the special hair accessories for Del Rey. Along with the touching tribute, the singer kept her overall look minimal yet regal.

She donned a Valentino Haute Couture gown and paired it with a dramatic black bow and feather. Creative director Alessandro Michele, who styled her outfit, also joined her on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, the “Summertime Sadness” crooner’s relationship with Jeremy Dufrene has received mixed responses from her fans on social media. Sources revealed that the tour guide was unaware of Del Rey’s real identity initially.

A source revealed to the Daily Mail in 2024, “They’ve known each other for years but only started dating a few months ago.” The source added, “He had no idea who she was at the time, which was refreshing to her, and she didn’t explain immediately.”

The insider further explained how Del Rey and Dufrene’s romance began. “She wanted to go on a boat tour because it’s a big thing in Louisiana, but she never expected to fall for a gator boat captain,” the insider noted.

As per the source, the duo first met in 2019 when Del Rey performed at the Buku Music + Art Project in Louisiana in March. At the time, both the singer and Dufrene were in relationships with different people. The couple reconnected when the singer revisited the area in May 2024 to perform at Hangout Fest. This time, they were both single and “reconnected.”
