While Ghosts season 5 has a lot of plots to cover and characters to follow, season 4, episode 21 set up one cameo that the CBS sitcom must follow through. The ghosts of CBS’s Ghosts might be the show’s true heroes, but the series still deserves credit for its great taste in guest stars. Season 4 alone saw Brooklyn 99’s Joe Lo Truglio appear as an amoral restaurant critic, Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris show up as Sam’s estranged father Frank, and Mary Holland steal the first three episodes as Patience the Puritan ghost.
