Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s second-eldest son has adjudicated on which is the most famous parent in the trailer for the family’s upcoming Disney reality show.

In the new clip, Klay Rooney, 13, is asked the question during an interview and immediately picks his former England captain father.

With a cheeky grin, he explains his reasoning: ‘My mum’s only known because of my dad.’

The Real Rooneys sees the family invite cameras into their sprawling Cheshire mansion, as the couple juggle work responsibilities with raising their four sons.

As well as Klay, there’s Kai, 16, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight – but the trailer also sees Wayne shut down any possibilities of expanding their family further.

‘No chance. I’ve had the snip,’ he laughs when asked by a Disney producer.

The ten-episode series, which will be released on Hulu in the US, promises a glimpse behind closed doors at the famous family during a year of filming.

The cameras were let in just as Wayne stepped away from football management, swapping the touchline for school runs and a new job in punditry for the BBC – which produced some memorable TV moments during the World Cup this summer.

Elsewhere in the trailer, Coleen references her court case against Rebekah Vardy and her appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! She refers to how the increased publicity has led to more opportunities, such as her collection with Primark.

She says: ‘Since the court case and then the jungle, it’s opened up a lot of doors.’

The family’s Cheshire mansion is shown, with Coleen saying: ‘This house is everything I’ve dreamed of, the only problem is we’ve got to share it with our four boys.’
