One of Kim Kardashian’s security guards got caught in an awkward moment with the star ahead of her Met Gala arrival.
Kim, 44, took 11-year-old daughter North West, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West, as her date to this year’s event.
Stepping out of their hotel in New York City to make their way to the museum, Kim and eldest child North were surrounded by flashing cameras and shouty fans all eager to catch a glimpse of her look.
However, it seems one man didn’t look where he was going, as the bodyguard accidentally stepped on her dress.
The exchange was caught by a fan who posted a clip to TikTok, capturing Kim stumbling forward.
She then turned to him with a harsh look on her face, muttering something before walking to the car.

Thankfully, both Kim and her dress made it to the Gala in one piece, as she posed proudly in a black leather Chrome Hearts gown.
The form-fitting peplum frock hugged her famous curves and plunged all the way down to her bum with daring cut-outs, hanging off one shoulder with an asymmetrical neckline and pockets along the stomach.
Her floor-length skirt was bedazzled with a diamond-studded chain, and she accessorised with a statement choker and diamond earrings.
Quite literally topping off the ensemble, she placed a matching leather top hat on her head in a nod to this year’s dandyism dress code.
Kim famously makes headlines each year at the Met, often due to controversy or revealing plenty of flesh.

In 2022, she enraged the internet by wearing one of Marilyn Monroe’s actual gowns, which the late actress donned when she sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy in 1962.
But Kim caused a stir when images appeared to show the fabric of the item had been stretched and that crystals were missing.
Meanwhile, this year, North kept things fun and fresh, adding blue to her braided hair and sporting vibrant makeup.
She wore a cowprint jacket and shorts combo, paired with Nike socks and a $1,200 pair of leather Rick Owens trainers.
Of course, the Met Gala is a Kardashian and Jenner hotspot, so Kim wasn’t the only one from the famous family to make an appearance this year.

She was joined by sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, with Kendall opting for independent British designer Torishéju Dumi, while Kylie wore a black and grey Ferragamo corset dress.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 27, flew solo tonight, as actor boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, 29, was not by her side, packing on the smooches.
Model Kendall, 29, meanwhile, was accompanied by best pal Hailey Bieber, whose husband, pop star Justin, also decided to stay home.
The Rhode beauty entrepreneur kept things super simple this time around, wearing a plunging black Saint Laurent tuxedo blazer dress with sheer tights and peep-toe stilettos.
Her attendance at the Met comes amid raging concern for Baby hitmaker Justin, 31, who has posted videos of himself smoking on Instagram and appearing vulnerable to fans who follow his every move.

For this year’s Met Gala, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour returns to oversee the dress code, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and LeBron James were appointed co-chairs, although the NBA champ had to pull out of attending due to injury.
But that doesn’t mean the night has been short on stars, with the likes of Madonna, Sabrina Carpenter, Lizzo, Chappell Roan, Diana Ross, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Zendaya, and Shakira all looking stunning on the floral blue carpet.
We had plenty of celebs flying the flag for us from across the pond as well, such as Stormzy, Sam Smith, Ncuti Gatwa, Dua Lipa, and James Corden.
