Kevin Stefanski Makes Decision Clear on Browns QB Change After Joe Flacco’s Costly Interceptions

The Detroit Lions plundered the Cleveland Browns in week 4 of the NFL 2025. Joe Flacco’s horrific interceptions gave the Browns the advantage to build a 20-7 lead before halftime. With this, the question hovers: why is Flacco picked as the starter over Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders? Flacco went 16-of-34 passing (50%) for 184 yards with a fumble and two interceptions. He posted a 39.3 passer rating. With this, HC Kevin Stefanski has made a key announcement regarding his role with the team in the future.

We all own it and we all have to be better,” he said on Flacco’s NFL-high 6 interceptions and 8 turnovers. The Browns don’t have a conceptually easy opponent until 19 Oct.

Stefanski has to either consider Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders as future contributors or make the Browns offense more handy.
