London’s Ministry Of Sound is hosting a 25th anniversary party for Kevin & Perry Go Large.

The now-iconic film, starring Harry Enfield and Kathy Burke, sees the eponymous characters head to Ibiza for a hedonistic, coming-of-age holiday where they experience the island’s legendary club scene.

Since its release in 2000, the film has garnered a cult following, in part thanks to its soundtrack – coined the ‘Kevin and Perry Classic Ibiza Mix’ – which featured music by the likes of Fatboy Slim, Underworld and Groove Armada and introduced a generation of British teenagers to dance.

Now, a party at London’s Ministry Of Sound will celebrate the movie’s music. Set to take place on Saturday June 7, the day rave will run from 2pm-10pm, and will feature sets from trance DJs such as Signum, Lange and Leena Punks, across two rooms.

Tickets are available to purchase here.

It follows a special club event held in Ibiza in 2022 to mark the film’s 20th anniversary, with COVID having disrupted original plans for 2020.

The year before, Kathy Burke praised two people who went viral for dressing up as Kevin and Perry at Hardwick Live festival. Writing on Twitter, she said: “If I wasn’t so much older and wider I’d swear this was me! Lovely stuff.”

Last year, upon Oasis announcing their reunion, fans begged Burke for a Kevin & Perry revival, when an old sketch featuring the Manchester band’s hit ‘Wonderwall’ resurfaced.

The actress responded to the sketch going viral on social media, and fans requests for a reboot, writing: “It’s not gonna happen. Mainly because I’m now 60 and H is 108 but thanks ever so for the love”.
