Kenny Atkinson Makes Painful Admission on Darius Garland Injury After Cavs vs Pacers Game 3

Despite being listed as QUESTIONABLE on the injury report, Darius Garland played in Game 3 for the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the Cavs 2-0 down against the Pacers, he had no other options to be frank. But after the game, we learned what Garland had to go through to show up tonight. 

With Garland back in the mix, the Cavs were able to pull the series back slightly with a dominant 126-104 win tonight. However, at the post-game press conference, head coach Kenny Atkinson revealed that all wasn’t right with Darius. He confessed that the 25-year-old guard had played through injury tonight.

“He’s just playing through a lot of pain, quite honestly. He’s kinda taking one for the team here. He had to push through a lot tonight,” said Atkinson.
