Kaskade spent the past year road-testing his visionary ORIGIN // project across the global festival circuit, kicking off with his highly anticipated return to Coachella. Closing out the legendary Sahara stage, he boldly premiered nine unreleased tracks and brought out surprise guests like Crankdat, cementing his reputation as an artist who thrives on musical risks.

Across the final 12-track LP, Kaskade navigates seamlessly between melodic house, atmospheric progressive arrangements, and heavy, bass-laden rhythms. By uniting a powerhouse lineup of fresh and established talent — including standout features from BUNT. and Wooli — he masterfully propels his legendary sound into its next forward-thinking era.

Through powerful collaborations with bass music heavyweights, Kaskade dove headfirst into uncharted dubstep territory. Teaming up with Crankdat on their explosive single, “A Little Bit,” Kaskade secured a #1 spot on Beatport’s Dubstep Top 100 chart, proving his versatility. He pushes even further into bass-heavy arrangements on “Hear Me Now,” an intense yet melodic link-up with Wooli and vocalist MAXINE.

Meanwhile, tracks like the emotional, pop-leaning anthem “Runaway” with German hitmakers GLOCKENBACH and rising singer Kaitlin Aragon beautifully balance out the album’s aggressive edge with polished, festival-ready house melodies. All of the tracks work cohesively, tying together Kaskade’s curiosity and willingness to expand his musical catalog by exploring the unknown. And for him, it has paid off.

The album naturally expanded into the ORIGIN // Tour, an immersive conceptual live experience that marks Kaskade’s first full-scale headline run in over a decade. After he’s brought his massive production to packed crowds in New York City, Santa Monica, and Miami, only three highly anticipated stops remain. The tour heads next to Toronto and Chicago before coming to a spectacular close in Austin on November 20. Hosted at The Concourse Project, this massive, open-air show promises the perfect, high-energy finale to Kaskade’s most adventurous creative year yet.
