Kangana Ranaut's fans DEFEND her after Instagram reel sparks backlash for featuring Pakistani song: 'Ek song kya reel pe laga lia...'

Kangana Ranaut recently went full throttle on social media and called Pakistan a "nasty nastion full of terrorist", and even said it should be "wiped out from the world map". Not the one to shy away from her political stance, Kangana has been slamming Pakistan amid its conflict with India. The political leader has also been lauding PM Modi's 'unmatched courage, wisdom' after he addressed the nation post Operation Sindoor. Taking to X, (formerly called Twitter), Kangana wrote, "Dear Prime Minister ji, you led us with unmatched courage, wisdom, and unwavering commitment and compassion for the nation. A great leader in every sense #Modi".

However, the actress is being trolled for sharing a video of herself to a Pakistani song.

Kangana Ranaut had shared a reel on Instagram. In the video, she was seen dancing along with a peacock, plucking fruits from a tree and posing for the perfect snap. Kangana captioned the post as, "Zinda rehne keliye sirf ek cheeze zaruri hai aur woh hai zindagi, hope we don't just live but also remain alive and lively as well ".

Kangana played the Pakistani song 'Raanjhaya Ve' in the background of this video. Within no time, her video went viral on social media and netizens trolled her for using a Pakistani song amid the conflict between the two countries. One user wrote, "Hahahaha wah chipkali still you are obsessed with Pakistani music." Another commented saying, "Chipkali hamary song laga rahi ha matlb sorry kah rhi ha or sharminda ha apne alfaaz py ???". Third user wrote, "You lizard hamara song b lagaya huwa hai ?? pakistan zindabad ?? ????????". Next comment read, "Good to see Kangana's gesture of peace towards Pakistan through this Pakistani song :)"

However, her fans were quick to defend Kangana. In the video, Kangana - who stuns in a grogeous saree - was seen strolling through the area as she embraced the serenity of Jaipur.

On the work front, Kangana is all set to make her Hollywood debut with the horror drama Blessed Be the Evil and will be directed by Anurag Rudra and co-written by Rudra and Gatha Tiwary. The story of the film will follow a Christian couple who, after suffering a miscarriage, move into an abandoned farmhouse with a dark and scary past. Kangana will share screen space with Scarlet Rose Stallone, daughter of Sylvester Stallone, and Tyler Posey. As per reports, the production of the film is expected to begin this summer in New York and the filmmakers are choosing U.S. locations partly to avoid potential disruptions.
