The main card for UFC Perth is down another fight after Justin Tafa came down with an illness.
The promotion announced Friday that the heavyweight bout between Tafa and Louie Sutherland has been cancelled for Saturday’s event in Australia.
Sutherland made weight at Friday’s weigh-in, but the New Zealand-born Tafa did not take the scales, resulting in the cancellation.

Light-heavyweight contenders Carlos Ulberg and Dominick Reyes headline action from Australia this weekend. Watch UFC Fight Night on Saturday, Sept. 27 on Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet+ with coverage beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
It will be the second straight fight that Tafa was unable to participate in. He was last scheduled to take on Jhonata Diniz at UFC 317 in June, but withdrew for unknown reasons.
The 31-year-old last fought Tallison Teixeira at UFC 312 in February, losing by technical knockout 35 seconds into the first round.
Sutherland, meanwhile, was scheduled to make his UFC debut against Tafa after compiling a 10-3 MMA record. Sutherland was on a four-fight win streak and seven of his 10 victories had come via first-round finish.
UFC Perth had already lost fighters Junior Tafa — Justin’s brother — and Oban Elliott in the lead-up to the event.
