He posted a snap with himself in the centre, planting a kiss on his mother Sharon's forehead on the left while hugging his son Maxwell, seven. He held the hands of his daughter Maiya, nine and wife Emily as she hugged his other arm.

The post comes as pop star Taylor Swift was subpoenaed as a witness by Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman.

Swift is to be a witness in the legal battle between her close friend Blake Lively and co-star and director, Baldoni.

A representative for Swift hit out at the gesture in statement obtained by media outlets including People and Deadline, suggesting that it was only done to "draw public interest" for the case.

Justin Baldoni on acting in and directing It Ends with Us

"Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history," the rep said, referring to her record-breaking Eras Tour.

They claimed her "connection" to the movie "was permitting the use of one song", namely My Tears Ricochet from her 2020 album Folklore.

"This document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case."

The film has been in the headlines after Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and an alleged smear campaign against her.

Baldoni then denied the accusations and countersued his cos-star, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist for defamation. The trial is set to take place in 2026.
