Jumanjimight be one of the unlikely mega-hit film franchises out there. The quirky book by Chris Van Allsburg about a board game that brings in all manner of creatures from a magical jungle was first adapted for the big screen with the original Robin Williams-led film, which is widely considered to be a definitive '90s cult classic. Then, after over 20 years (not counting the spiritual sci-fi spin-off Zathura: A Space Adventure), the franchise made a bold and ambitious comeback thanks to Dwayne Johnson.
