Jon Lewis out as England Women’s head coach after ill-fated Ashes tour

Lewis took charge of the team back in November 2022England whitewashed 16-0 by Australia during Ashes

Jon Lewis has left his role as head coach of England Women, the England and
Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced.

Lewis’s position has been hanging by a thread ever since his side were thrashed 16-0 in their multi-format series against Australia at the start of the year. Having also overseen an error-strewn showing at last year’s T20 World Cup, he has now been let go as part of a wide-ranging review by the ECB.
