Carrie Underwood has been making her mark this season on American Idol, bringing it back to where it all started for her back in 2004 when she won the title of American Idol. Carrie's presence on the show is a full-circle moment for the country superstar, although critics have claimed that she is "too nice" to be an effective judge. Carrie replaced Katy Perry as a judge for American Idol season 23, and she joined returning judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, as well as longtime host (and Carrie proponent), Ryan Seacrest.
