2026 has been a bit more of a low-key year for Jason Statham. While the action icon continues to pump out pulse-pounding features that stand as audience favorites, his two movies this year, Shelter and Mutiny, haven't exactly lit the world on fire at the box office. The former may have since found streaming success, but the Ric Roman Waugh-directed film ended just shy of $54 million globally when it needed around $100 million to turn a profit. The book isn't closed on his Die Hard-like boat-bound flick either, but it's off to a rocky start as well, only grossing around $23 million since its release on August 21. Still, while the box office results aren't promising, most of his battles are won instead on the VOD market, where his mid-budget thrillers have often thrived.
