It's been an eventful year for Jason Statham; the action star has had two theatrical releases, both of which have underperformed at the box office. The second, Mutiny, suffered a major setback ahead of its debut a few weeks ago. It was accidentally uploaded on Prime Video for several hours, allowing online pirates to access it and disseminate it on illegal file-sharing sites. Despite the setback, Mutiny outgrossed Statham's first release of 2026, Shelter. Combined, the two movies grossed around $30 million domestically, which isn't very impressive. But Shelter has found an audience in its home-video era, and Mutiny is expected to follow suit. Statham remains a popular draw on streaming, and this month, one of his most overlooked titles is available in the United States for free.
