Jamila Woods played Webster Hall with Uwade (pics, setlist)

Jamila Woods released her great new album Water Made Us in October, and she’s in the midst of her tour supporting it, which stopped in NYC on Sunday for a show at Webster Hall with Uwade. She took some time to explain the meanings and inspirations behind the new material, sometimes reading passages from books that inspired the songs, which sounded fantastic.
