James Gunn Shares Huge ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ Production Update

The superheroes of Krypton are all set to lead the way in James Gunn and Peter Safran's revamped DC Universe. Kicking things off in just a few months from now is Superman, which will see David Corenswet step into the iconic red-blue suit of the Man of Steel. Audiences will then be introduced to a new incarnation of his cousin, Kara Zor-El Kent, in Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow, which, as of now, is scheduled as the second movie in the Gods and Monsters chapter. The project stars House of the Dragon breakout star Milly Alcock in the titular role. Filming began in January, and just four months later, Gunn has confirmed that production has officially wrapped.
