Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Announces She's Pregnant With Her Fifth Child

It has been a trying time for Steffy on Bold and Beautiful  — what with finding out her devoted husband is the father to the last person who tried to kill her, Luna Nozawa — but off screen, her portrayer, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, is in a celebratory mood. That’s because she has exciting news to share with the world.

Baby Number 5

The multiple Daytime Emmy-award winning actress announced in her newsletter that she had a little secret to reveal: “I’m almost 7 months pregnant! Our family is beyond excited, and my kids are over the moon. It’s such a special time in our home—so much love, energy, and anticipation!”

When she says “my kids” she means sons Rise (born March 2019), Lenix (February 2021), Brando (May 2022) and Valor James (August 2023) with husband Elan Ruspoli. In the newsletter, Wood went on to describe how important it has been to remain in shape for this pregnancy. “ Continuing to work out—so grateful I focused on building strength before pregnancy! It’s made carrying my kids and performing emotional scenes much easier.”

She has certainly had some of those lately, as Steffy has been beside herself that the woman who kept her locked in a cage has been revealed to be her husband’s child — one he never knew about until recently. Finn can be forgiven since he was only 18 at the time he had sex with his aunt — he’s adopted! — and she lied to him at the time that he was not her baby’s father. But now the truth is out and Steffy has been reeling. Things only got worse when they all learned that Luna received a pardon from the governor so now she is free.

You can bet those gut-wrenching scenes as Steffy and Finn try to navigate this news will only continue. It’s not like their relationship was smooth sailing prior to this, considering Steffy had to deal with his birth mother’s identity coming to light — Sheila Carter, the woman who almost killed both her and Finn. Now, Luna has turned to her biological grandmother. If Sheila takes her under her wing, you can bet Steffy’s anxiety levels will escalate exponentially. Will that lead to Steffy needing to get away from Los Angeles for her own sanity and therefore allowing Wood to take a maternity leave? Time will tell.
