The Las Vegas Raiders have selected wide receiver Jack Bech with the No. 58 pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Bech emerged as a standout at TCU last season, leading the Horned Frogs with 62 catches for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns. A Lafayette, La., native, he began his college career at LSU before transferring to TCU in 2023. Bech wore the No. 7 jersey to honor his older brother, Tiger Bech—a former Princeton football player—who was one of 14 people killed in a terrorist attack on New Year’s Day in New Orleans.

“Everything I’m doing out here is just all for him and in memory of him,” Bech said the week of the Senior Bowl about his older brother. In that same game, he caught the winning touchdown and earned MVP honors, a moment that added emotional weight to his draft journey. Bech had previously shared that Tiger had accomplished all his dreams except playing in the NFL.

Now, Jack carries that legacy forward. “Best moments ever, you know, like I’ve been saying, Now, it’s a two for one view, not only do they get me, they get Tiger too. So no, it’s a dream come true. You know, everybody in this room when people I love most people who got me a year. No, I came with put on for them.”

But Jack Bech made sure he lets the world also know that what he is capable of. As he said, “They’re about to get a dog. Might come in there, you know, I’m about to help lead. You know, we’re gonna go win a bunch of games. You know, I just can’t wait. They’re gonna get somebody who’s accountable, you know, somebody’s gonna come in there who’s gonna work hard each and every day to perfect his craft. Was gonna put the team first. And like I said, for the greater goal of the team, to go help, you know, win games with Super Bowls.

“I’m going to make sure everybody in this world knows Tiger’s name.”
