“It Was So Much Fun”: Kaitlin Olson Reflects on the 'Always Sunny’ and ‘Abbott Elementary’ Crossover Two-Parter

Throughout television history, we’ve been so lucky as to see some of our favorite characters crossover into the world of other beloved TV families. Remember when the boys of Supernatural got animated with Scooby-Doo? Or when The X-Files dipped into the world of The Simpsons? Good times. Well, in our current year of 2025, although many things may seem like a dumpster fire raging out of control, we are at least being treated to not just one but two terrific crossovers, all thanks to the city of brotherly love – Philadelphia! The beginning of the year saw our favorite gang of ruffian miscreants from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia step into the wholesome world of Abbott Elementary, and soon, we’ll see the former’s side of the story.
