WWE superstar Becky Lynch is branching out into acting, and is set to star on the upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series. But before she boldly goes where no The Man has gone before, she talked to Variety about her history with the franchise, and her favorite Star Trek star. Those who know that Lynch (real name Rebecca Quin) hails from Ireland may have been able to guess that her fave is countryman Colm Meaney, who starred as Miles O'Brien, "the most important person in Starfleet history," on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.
