Gwyneth Paltrow calls Marty Supreme her first serious acting role in years. Marty Supreme is an upcoming semi-biographical comedy directed by Josh Safdie, half of the now-dissolved directing duo the Safdie Brothers. The film will feature Timothée Chalamet as a professional table tennis player named Marty Mauser, who goes to great lengths to pursue greatness. Paltrow will star opposite Chalamet in a cast that also includes Sandra Bernhard, Fran Drescher, Odessa A'zion, and Tyler the Creator. The film is set for release on December 25.
