Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa are officially set to co-star in a new Star Wars Canon story that explores an untold chapter in the Skywalkers' history. Beloved Legends arcs such as Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order, Leia Organa and Han Solo's long-running family saga, the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Second Galactic Civil War, and the rise of characters like Mara Jade, Ben Skywalker, and Darth Caedus no longer form part of the official timeline. The replacement of Star Wars' extensive Legends continuity removed decades' worth of stories centered on the Skywalker family, but it also created room for new interpretations of many of the same stories.
