Her character, Gail Loman, will make a huge decision about her future in the Dales during tonight’s episode.

Over the past few days, Gail has felt undervalued at the pub and reached a conclusion that she wants to do more with her life than simply help out at the local boozer.

Is Gail leaving Emmerdale for good?

Saying goodbye to his partner will break Ryan’s heart, but he will understand and respect Gail’s decision.

As it stands, Gail will leave for good but because the character isn’t being killed off, there will always be the opportunity for her to return in the future.
