Anthony Edwards is up 3-1 in yet another series. There’s just no stopping him in this postseason, huh? Well, it did seem like we got close in game 2 after he exited the game after hurting his ankle. But we know Ant is cut from a different cloth. He came back in that very game. The Wolves won it and haven’t lost since. But Ant-Man caught a lucky break that day. Has he been as lucky since?
Let’s see what the injury report turned in by his team has to say about that.
Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report – Will Anthony Edwards play tonight?
Anthony Edwards has looked incredible in this entire postseason. Not only did he brush off an injury to help the T-Wolves win like we said earlier, but he’s also played great on an individual level this season. He’s averaged an incredible 27.3 points and 8.1 rebounds a game for the T-Wolves across the 9 Playoff games his team has played.

So it will please you, T-Wolves fans, to know that there are no reports of him getting injured ahead of Game 5 against the Golden State Warriors. Meaning, Anthony Edwards is not on the Timberwolves’ injury report for Game 5 against the Golden State Warriors. So, Ant-Man is AVAILABLE for their upcoming game. As it turns out, so is everyone else on the Minnesota roster.
The Timberwolves have submitted a clean injury report for this game. Their opponents, the Dubs, weren’t so lucky, though. Their best player, Stephen Curry, is still listed as OUT on the latest injury report. They’ve lost the last 3 games in a row without him. And it doesn’t look like he’ll be able to help his team against Ant-Man and co.
So, can the Timberwolves bounce the Warriors in 5 after bouncing the Lakers in the series prior?
Can Anthony Edwards and Co. bounce Stephen Curry, much like they did LeBron James, in consecutive series?
Oh, you better believe Anthony Edwards plans to do it. After knocking LeBron out in 5, Edwards is staring down the possibility of doing exactly the same to Stephen Curry. Only this time on his home floor.
“You can’t get comfortable in the NBA—especially not in the playoffs,” Edwards reminded everyone after Game 4. And with Steph sidelined for his fourth straight contest, the Wolves smell blood. They’re up 3–1 and itching to close it out Wednesday. And judging from what Ant-Man said, we don’t think he plans on easing up on them.

Edwards is averaging a cool 27 points per game in this series, while Julius Randle tacks on 23.3. Remember when Edwards challenged the team at halftime of Game 4? “We just couldn’t take the opportunity that we have lightly,” Randle said. They came out with that extra gear and never looked back.
On the flip side, Kerr admitted, “Everybody’s shots are more difficult” without Curry breaking down defenses. That’s the opening Edwards needs to exploit. But here’s the thing—Edwards won’t do it solo. “Those guys are like my brothers,” he laughed. “I can’t do it without those guys. They are the MVP every night.”
So, can he bounce Steph after dumping LeBron? All the pieces are there. If Edwards and Co. bring that same aggression Wednesday, well… the Timberwolves may be Western Conference finalists for two consecutive years.
