Ironheart Art Shows Best Look at Riri Williams’ New MCU Armor Yet

New artwork for Ironheart gives MCU fans their best look yet at Riri Williams’ armor.

Ironheart premieres on Disney+ this coming June. Executive produced by Sinners’ Ryan Coogler, the Marvel Studios show stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a character who first debuted in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

New promotional artwork for Ironheart, which can be viewed below via an X post from @GaloyanSipan, shows off a brand-new look at Riri’s impressive armor.

What is Ironheart about?

“Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Television’s Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) — a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world — returns to her hometown of Chicago,” the official synopsis reads. “Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka The Hood (Anthony Ramos).”

The cast of Ironheart also includes Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.

Chinaka Hodge serves as the head writer on the show, while episodes are directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes. Hodge is also an executive producer alongside Coogler, as are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler.

The first three episodes of Ironheart will premiere on Disney+ on June 24, 2025. There will be six episodes in total, though it is currently unclear if the final three episodes will all be released together or if they will come out on a week-by-week basis.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, meanwhile, is currently streaming on Disney+. Marvel and Coogler have plans to make a third Black Panther movie that may star Denzel Washington, though it is unknown if Thorne’s Riri will be featured in that movie as well.
