TWILIGHT star Kristen Stewart married her screenwriter fiancee, Dylan Meyer, in an intimate LA wedding on Easter Sunday.
The small and easy-going ceremony was attended by celeb pals, reports say – but the 35-year-old’s journey to becoming a wife has been far from carefree.

In fact, Kristen’s love life has played out in the public eye since she shot to global stardom in the 2005 film Fierce People, where she met her first love, Anton Yelchin.
Following that came sexuality awakenings, a high-profile relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson and even a self-confessed “feral” phase in her early Twenties.
With a dad who is a stage manager and television producer, and a mum who is a script supervisor and filmmaker, it made sense that Kristen would go into the entertainment industry.
However, she always thought that she would become a screenwriter or a director – and never considered she might become one of Hollywood’s most recognisable faces.
She revealed in a biography: “I never wanted to be the centre of attention.
“I wasn’t that ‘I want to be famous, I want to be an actor’ kid.
“I never sought out acting, but I always practiced my autograph because I love pens.”
Despite this, the American actress went on to receive various accolades, including a BAFTA and César Award.
But with great success came great public interest – particularly in her love life.
Fabulous takes a look at Kristen Stewart’s chequered love life throughout the years, and the relationship scandals she has weathered…
First Love

Kristen dated co-star Anton Yelchin when they were filming Fierce People in 2005. They were respectively aged 14 and 15 at the time.
The late actor was tipped as one of Hollywood’s most promising young actors in the Noughties, but was tragically killed in a freak accident in 2016.
Kristen described him as her “first heartbreak”, revealing in a documentary after his death: “He kind of broke my heart.
“I was so baffled by how good he was, and then I couldn’t be around him.
He intimidated me because he was so voracious, and I wanted to absorb all his interests. I wanted to be better, smoother, cooler, but couldn’t even hang with him

“I wanted to be better, smoother, cooler, but couldn’t even hang with him.”
Given their young age, there were no hard feelings after they broke up and Kristen went on to date her Speak co-star, Michael Angarano, in 2005.
Her and Anton stayed on good terms, and he even rang her after his first heartbreak to apologise for breaking Kristen’s, to which she replied: “Dude, it’s fine.”
Four Year Love

Kristen dated fellow American actor Michael Angarano, now 37, between 2005 and 2009 after meeting him on the set of Speak.
He was aged 17 at the time, whilst she was aged 15.
When aged 18, Kristen described him as her “significant other” and “celebrity crush” in an interview with Vanity Fair.
Their relationship remained stable and avoided any major controversies.

The pair split up in 2009, shortly after Kristen had filmed the first Twilight film, and stayed on good terms afterwards.
Earlier this month, the pair posed with his now-wife, Maya Erskine, at a special screening of the film Sacramento, which Michael co-wrote.
In mid-2009, shortly after their break-up, Kristen was romantically linked to her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
Like her relationship with Michael, things with R-Pattz lasted four years. But unlike her prior love, this one weathered a lot of controversy.
Twilight It Couple

Like their characters Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, Kristen and Robert, now 38, developed a glimmering romantic connection.
In the films, English actor Robert plays Edward Cullen, a vampire who falls in love with Bella Swan, a mortal teenager played by Kristen.
It wasn’t long before their on-screen chemistry made it to the realm off the off-screen.
It is said the couple fell in love some time after the hit vampire franchise’s first movie came out, but they played it very coy when it came to putting their relationship on display.

Rumours swirled while they were filming the second Twilight film, and Robert even claimed in an interview with the Daily Mirror: “I don’t have a girlfriend.”
Then, in August 2009, they were photographed snuggling at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver, Canada, which appeared to confirm suspicions that a romance was happening off-screen.
Come July 2012, disaster struck.
Kristen was photographed with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, revealing an alleged affair.
Public Affair

Aged 22 at the time, Kristen was reported to have enjoyed an affair with her director, Rupert Sanders, who was aged 41 at the time.
It took place while she was preparing to spread her wings from the vampire franchise, she and joined forces with father-of-two Rupert to work on his $170m feature debut.
Snaps showed the director appearing to nestle into Kristen’s shoulder at Pacific View Trail, which is a lookout point with a view of the Hollywood sign.
Further pictures from inside a parked car showed them appearing to kiss. Kristen was living with Robert in Hollywood at the time.
[It was] a really traumatic period in my early Twenties that kick-started something in me that was a bit more feral
Kristen StewartAfter their relationship was exposed, Kristen issued a public apology to Robert, and the pair briefly got back together before splitting up for good the following year in May 2013.
Rupert has since called the affair an “exciting mistake”.
Meanwhile, Kristen said it called it “a really traumatic period in my early Twenties that kick-started something in me that was a bit more feral”.
During a 2019 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Kristen confessed that “there was nothing I could do” about falling in love with heartthrob R-Pattz.
Girlfriends Galore

In the wake of high-profile relationship with R-Pattz, Kristen began to explore her sexual identity.
Soon enough, she struck up a relationship with her personal assistant, Alicia Cargile.
At the time, Kristen told Elle UK that she was just “really in love with my girlfriend.”
The actress also added that having an on-and-off dynamic, the relationship made her “feel again.”

The two dated through 2016, before finally calling it quits.
In 2017, Kristen stated that she is bisexual, saying in an interview with The Guardian: “You’re not confused if you’re bisexual. It’s not confusing at all. For me, it’s quite the opposite.”
After her relationship with Alicia, Kristen had a few more public girlfriends – all of whom were musicians.
These included French musician SoKo (real name Stephani Sokolinski), rock band PVRIS frontwoman Lynn Gunn and American singer St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark).
Model Behaviour

After a string of musician girlfriends, Kristen turned her attention to supermodels – in particular, Stella Maxwell.
A source confirmed to People Magazine in December 2016 that the pair were dating and “having fun”.
Stella is known for her work with lingerie brand Victoria’s secret, and even enjoyed a high-profile romance with former Disney star Miley Cyrus in 2015.
It’s unclear exactly how Kristen met the model but the pair were said to be very loved up between 2017 and 2018.

They were last spotted as a couple in Amsterdam in October 2018, while Kristen took a break from filming the 2019 Charlie’s Angels remake.
By December of that year, rumours started to swirl that they had called it quits.
After time apart, the pair reportedly reconciled for a few months in the summer of 2019, and were even snapped kissing on a yacht.
It was during this relationship that Kristen officially revealed she was a lesbian, saying on Saturday Night Live: “I’m, like, so gay, dude!”
Wifey for Lifey

Kristen and now-wife Dylan Meyer, who is a screenwriter, were first rumoured to be together in August 2019 after they were pictured kissing in New York.
The two looked inseparable at the time as Kristen wrapped her arms around Dylan, before the Hollywood star was pictured diving in for a very public kiss during their afternoon out.
While the pair have not been extremely open about their relationship, back in April 2021, Dylan had no problem praising her partner on Kristen’s 30th birthday.
They got engaged after nearly two years of dating, Kristen confirmed to Howard Stern on his radio show.

She said: “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it.
“I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it.
“We’re marrying, it’s happening.”
And it looks like it’s finally happened, as the pair enjoyed an intimate wedding on Sunday, held in Los Angeles.
Sources told TMZ that guests were kept to a minimum, but the couple did have some famous faces in attendance, including Ashley Benson and her husband Brandon Davis.
It’s reported that the couple procured their LA marriage license on Tuesday of last week.
