In Afghanistan, Female Journalists Can Neither Ask Questions Nor Appear on Screen

KABUL, June 11 (IPS) - Afghanistan ranks 175th in the Reporters Without Borders Press Freedom Index this year. Out of 180 countries on the list, only Iran, Syria, China, North Korea and Eritrea ranked lower than Afghanistan.
