Spider-Man: Brand New Day beat Avengers: Endgame to deliver the biggest domestic debut ever, grossing an astronomical $360 million. The film's success is just what the Marvel Cinematic Universe needed after a rough few years, and with Avengers: Doomsday around the corner, the franchise can hope to ride this wave for at least a few months. Spider-Man: Brand New Dayis now among only 64 movies to have made more than $1 billion worldwide, and in doing so, it has overtaken the lifetime global haul of several past blockbusters.
