I have wanted the underrated 2010s fantasy movie, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, to get a sequel for nine years, but I am finally admitting it will not happen. Released in 2016, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is based on a 2011 novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs, and follows teenager Jake Portman (Asa Butterfield), who uncovers a mystery that spans throughout time, finding himself in Miss Peregrine’s home for “peculiar children.” The Peculiars each have different powers and live inside a time-looped house set for September 3, 1943, which keeps their existence a secret.
