The Marvel Cinematic Universe may have helped to inspire Dave Filoni's upcoming Star Wars movie. Since Iron Man was released in 2008, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has been helping to shape the direction of the universe, having worked his way up from serving as a production assistant. He has helped to craft an entire cinematic universe from the ground up, merging countless projects from across a wide timeline. After the Star Wars canon was reset in the wake of Disney's decision to purchase Lucasfilm, the studio has been attempting to replicate those efforts.
