The trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart proves how Riri Williams is going to be a worthy successor to Tony Stark, and it’s already giving her an MCU storyline that Iron Man couldn’t have. The two heroes have obvious similarities in their names, and that’s because Riri is directly inspired by Iron Man in the comics. After he catches wind of her inventions, he acts as a mentor to her as she takes on her own hero mantle. The two come from vastly different backgrounds, yet their stories are parallel in many ways.
