A WOMAN has left the internet stunned after getting a barcode of her favourite drink tattooed on her arm.
Dew, from Switzerland, took to social media to show off her new ink.

The tattoo features a barcode with a small worm by the side of it.
In the clip, she took herself to a self-scanning checkout and instead of using the code on the item, used her arm tattoo.
After a few seconds of trying, the checkout beeped as it recognised the barcode etched onto her arm.
On the screen it revealed it was for a can of Red Bull, Dew’s favourite drink.
She screamed as the barcode scanned, clearly thrilled her tattoo worked.
The clip quickly went viral with over 7.8 million views and she went on to answer questions from viewers in another post.
Dew revealed the barcode worked in multiple shops
She also said that the barcode does not change the price in stores.
She added: “This identifies the item, the store sets the price, the system knows the price for the product.
“I cannot cheat with this to get me a cheap Red Bull.”

The video was shared on her TikTok account @mycringe.s**t and people were left stunned by the clever design.
Some went as far as to hail Dew as a genius while others were inspired to get a similar tattoo.
One person wrote: “Iconic.”
Another commented: “Well that’s my next tattoo design sorted.”
Tattoo Do's and Don'ts
1. Think, think and think some more
Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you’ve chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it.
2. Age restrictions apply
You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the UK.
3. Don’t haggle over the price
When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry
Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you’re hydrated. You’re about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or you’re dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before you get tattooed
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don’t go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances. I’d also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more.
“I Need this,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “And all of the sudden I know what I want my next tattoo to be.”
“Imagine if the barcode changes,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Omg I need to do this for my fav drink.”
