Harper McLean (Asher Yasbincek) is a terror towards Amerie Wadia (Ayesha Madon) in Heartbreak High, but over the seasons, she proves she has a sweeter side. Heartbreak High is an Australian comedy drama that premiered on Netflix in 2022, and is a soft reboot of the original 1994 series. Occupying a tightly packed strata of Netflix comedy TV shows, Heartbreak High stands out with its sharp sense of humor, realism, willingness to address serious topics, and diverse cast. One of the more important characters in the series, Harper, has had quite the arc.
