So if you’ve been sitting on the same sofa for the past decade, but can’t afford to get a new one, fear not, we’ve got you covered.

And if your sofa could do with some TLC, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to listen up.

Rather than splashing thousands of pounds on a new sofa, Beth, a DIY enthusiast from the UK, was able to give hers a total transformation whilst keeping the costs low.

For just £16, Beth gave her sofa a fresh new look and proudly took to social media to share a before and after look.

Posting online, Beth shared her short clip with the caption ‘I might be onto something here’.

She then beamed: “Paint my sofa with me.”

Beth confirmed that she used Fabricoat fabric paint, which she bought from Amazon, to give her sofa an upgrade.

She claimed that it doesn’t transfer onto clothes when you sit on it and was a great purse-friendly alternative compared with buying a new pricey piece of furniture.

Impressed with her DIY project, Beth explained: “It only cost £16 to do the whole sofa, deffo worth it.”

As well as this, she added: “It dried overnight for me! And hasn’t transferred at all.”

Thanks to her redecorating trick, Beth was able to ditch the grey and made her sofa look trendy and chic, in the fresh, gorgeous brown shade.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @beth_craigsx, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as at the time of writing it had quickly amassed 346,600 views in just one day.
