Trey Edward Shults' psychological thriller Hurry Up Tomorrow is now in theaters as part of its wide release, and it acts as a companion to Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye's latest album. The album and movie were produced simultaneously, and after enjoying the music since January 2025, fans now have the opportunity to see The Weeknd's self-introspective vision that accompanies it. The movie stars a fictionalized version of Tesfaye as he journeys into his own exhausted and fragmented mind, assisted by Barry Keoghan's Lee, his friend and hypeman, and Jenna Ortega's Anima, an obsessive fan who connects with Tesfaye.
