The Stranger Things star has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping as Wiress, the eccentric and brilliant former victor from District 3, reimagined here in her earlier years as a mentor for a new generation of tributes in Panem. Wiress, originally played by Amanda Plummer in Catching Fire, was best known for her cryptic demeanor and the now-iconic phrase “tick tock” — a clue that helped Katniss Everdeen and her allies survive the deadly clock arena in the Quarter Quell.
