The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is the newest entry in the Hunger Games film franchise, which, while dormant for some time, has recently been revived with the release of author Suzanne Collins' new novels in the series. The film is centered around the 50th Hunger Games, which were Haymitch Abernathy's games, explaining how he got to the situation he was in during the original trilogy. While the film doesn't release until 2026, Sunrise on the Reaping has begun revealing its cast members, and one of them has a history with the film's director.
