Lionsgate has now announced that Jesse Plemons has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping as Plutarch Heavensbee, who was played by Philip Seymour Hoffman in the original movies. During the timeline of those movies, the character was the Head Gamemaker and a secret rebellion leader. This casting announcement confirms longstanding rumors that Plemons, who previously played the son of Philip Seymour Hoffman in 2012's The Master, had boarded the project.
